When is it safe to get Sculptra injections in buttocks after BBL?

I have had many patients coming in requesting refinements to their BBL, such as filling in dimpled areas in their buttocks and thighs, or simply wanting additional results on top of what they obtained from BBL. As with any fat augmenation procedure, results are not permanent and I have a lot patients who do not want to go udner the knife again and opt to maintain their BBL with Sculptra.Timing? I would wait until all the swelling post BBL has subsided and when you can see your final results which usually at 6 months.  Massaging the Sculptra treated areas after 6 months will not harm any of the grafted fat cells.

After 6.5 months whatever fat that was transferred and lived will be able to handle the inflammation and bruising of your Sculptra treatment.  Hang in there and allow a few weeks to months to pass to see your improved dimpling.  You will likely need more than a single vial of treatment. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. What you are describing is cellulite. The Sculptra should have no adverse effect on your BBL this far out. I find that a combination of treatments works best on cellulite. I often combine Sculptra with Cellfina which releases the fiber that is causing the dimples. In cases where significant laxity is present, I may add BodyTite, a minimally invasive procedure that can tighten the skin up to 30%. Your discomfort where the Sculptra was placed should begin to diminish about this time. Usually by 7-10 days there is little to no discomfort remaining. I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
