I want to get a bbl. I just had a baby a few weeks ago so my stomach has some extra skin. Would I need to lose weight before bbl? And would it still look good if I didn't get a tummy tuck? And are the results I'm hoping for unrealistic?
Answer: Need to Lose Weight Before BBL - 19 YO, 5'7", 217 lbs Dropping a few pounds to maintain a stable weight at about 192 would provide you with optimal results and less risk for complications during surgery and recovery. Liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, back and bra rolls to harvest fat for the BBL would improve the contours of your body. At age 19, I would not recommend a TT unless you plan to have no more children as you may need another TT or a revision after another baby.Women will usually need at least 3 months for recovery from childbirth and to return to a stable weight before a BBL, although there is certainly a great deal of variability in this. Answer: Breast reduction Hi, thanks for sharing your concern and photos with us! First I want to congratulate you for making this important decision. Deciding to get an aesthetic procedure to change your body and get a new life style is a big step! Looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire back, waist and flanks liposuction, with BBL, and tummy tuck, this is because all the extra skin located in this areas plus your abdominal muscle needs to be repaired. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. For us your safety, always, is going to be first. Have a great day! Dr. JPG

Answer: An optimal BMI equals optimal surgery I would shed the baby weight if at all possible. You will have a much better result and lower your risk of complications and a suboptimal result

Answer: Do I need to lose weight before BBL? Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your photos you are a good candidate for a liposuction with bbl, and i think you'll get very good results. But you have to be reevaluated in 4 to 6 months to see how the skin and your abdominal muscles are, to know if you really need the tummy tuck. The fat transfer, often called Brazilian butt lift has become extremely popular because it allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You improve your waist, hips and of course your buttock, to give you a beautiful heart shape. I recommend you to make an appointment with a board plastic surgeon for a good evaluation and to talk about your goals. Good luck :)
