Going to the bathroom aftr BBL, am I going to harm my results?

Going to the bathroom can seem nearly impossible after having a BBL. Starting from how you're suppose to sit, sitting to use the bathroom should not affect your BBL results permanently as it will only be for a couple of minutes. If you're struggling with bowel movements and are unable to go to the bathroom properly i suggest to have your Doctor prescribe you with a stool softener to make the process more comfortable for you. Hope this help!

No, you will not harm your results.  One of these options may keep you from applying pressure to your hips or buttocks. If you have a sturdy grab bar by the toilet, hold on to it.  If you can squat, purchase a raised toilet seat with rails. Be careful not to fall in using either option. Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Going to the bathroom wont harm your results, so relax. It's important to know that after a BBL you have to be careful seating on your buttocks but not at the point to stress out because of the normal duties. As long as you use your boppy pillow and rest on your belly, there's nothing to worry about.I recommend you to get in touch with your plastic surgeon to talk about your concerns.Good luck :)

Everyone needs to go to the bathroom after a BBL and doing so well generally not harm your results.
Try to put your pressure on the back of your thighs as opposed to the treated area on your buttocks.
Most people get constipated when they take prescription pain medication.
I recommend my patients increased fiber in their diet by using supplements like Metamucil while they're taking prescription pain medication.

You are correct that going to the bathroom after a BBL can be challenging in the first few days post op.  Pain medications can add to constipation so stool softeners, laxatives and enemas can help.  If you can't easily squat, then try padding the toilet with soft towels or foam padding  (just make sure its stable).  Best wishes, Dr. Lepore.
