How can I higher my hemoglobin level instantly?

I'm having surgery(BBL and thigh lift) June 27, which is 11days away. My hemoglobin levels came back at 10.4. Can I get iron infusion or even a blood transfusion to higher it quickly? Im redoing my labs in 8 days. I'm already taking iron pills 3 times a day and B12 shots. I need answers please...

Your plastic surgeon should be able to recommend an appropriate regimen based upon the cause for the anemia. Having a blood transfusion is a drastic measure with its own set of risks.  Taking iron pills 3 X a day and B12 shots should likely have increased the hemoglobin levels if you have been following this treatment for several months. Hello, thanks for your question and provided information as well.. Iron infusions are good, but you have to do them for at least 2 weeks prior, iron shots, iron pills are good too, but I recommend you to discuss with your board certified plastic surgeon what can be donde safely.
