Minimal makeup during BBL?

Question

I was wondering since the face isn't exactly getting any procedures, if perhaps light eyebrow makeup and a minimum application of bb cream/light foundation would be okay to wear during surgery. Nothing crazy. I'm quite insecure about the redness on my face. This would make me feel a bit more comfortable. But of course, safety first.

Most surgeons will ask you to not apply any make up the day of surgery. It does vary, depending on the surgeon. I would ask the clinic or the you doctor if that is okay.

We typically ask our patients not to wear makeup on the day of their surgery. Although the procedure that you are having may not be near the face, the anesthesiologist will need access to the area in order to intubate you for surgery. The endotracheal tube will be taped to your mouth/face. You will likely also have covers and/or tape over your eyes. Therefore, it is best that you have a clean face when you come in.
