Mucocele and Lip Fillers. Will the process of getting the filler cause the mucocele to pop up again?

Hello xxDark_Shinesxx,A mucocele is caused by a block opening of a saliva gland in the mouth.  Those glands are located in the tissue just below the pink (submucosal).  The location for fillers to be injected is in a different area separated from this area by a muscle.  I would not have any problem injecting the lips of someone who had a previous mucocele.  I would recommend you discuss your concern with your injector before receiving any injections.  I hope this helps and good luck.
