Thanks for your question. I routinely perform Halo Pro treatments on my patients who have fillers. There is no problem with this and it does not effect the filler. Best of luck to you.
The Halo treatment will not affect your Voluma injections and it is safe to move forward. Enjoy your results!
Halo is a fantastic way to improve the quality of the skin and has minimal downtime, and Halo won't effect Voluma at all. Halo is a treatment that penetrates into the skin, but not through it. Voluma is placed under the skin, usually rather deep, so the Halo treatment can't effect the Voluma at all.Andrew Campbell, M.D.Facial Plastic SpecialistQuintessa Aesthetic Centers
Thank you, mr77, for asking this question. Thesimple answer is that getting VOLUMA filler injected doesn't prevent you from havinga Halo laser skin resurfacing procedure. The Halo laser is a unique hybrid thatuses 2 different laser wavelengths to penetrate beneath the skin at carefullycontrolled depths. VOLUMA is injected fairly deep and won't be affected by thelaser.
The depth of treatment of Halo and the depth of placement of Voluma make it safe to treat one on top of the other. I hope you enjoy the benefits of both!
You can have a halo treatment after a filler injections. To be on the safe side our office waits at least 2 weeks after Voluma injections.
I basically create levels for individual patients typically based on the amount of downtime they would like what we are trying to treat.Halo is completely individualized so the laser can be adjusted in so very many ways. There is no standard for "levels" this is just dependent on the...
I find that clear + brilliant with microneedling/PRP and skin care is the best for melasma. once its under control you can try something stronger like venus viva or fraxel or halo. often melasma can recur if you do something too strong to start. you should do peels in between...
Doxycycline can be used with the halo laser without problem. I often give antibiotics with laser treatments to prevent infection. Doxycycline is only sensitive to UV radiation not laser energy. Best, Dr. Emer.
