I had upper and lower Bleph mid/lower facelift, under chin correction and neck lift Nov 2, 2017. My smile is uneven and was quivering. My Ps said it’s neuroprexia that the sub SMS plans was stretched not cut. How long will it last and is this surgeon error?

Answer: Lip Drooping After facelift I am sorry that you are experiencing this after a facelift. However, your Surgeon is correct: this is most likely a weakness that will recover completely. The natural history is a 6 week to 6 month recovery, depending on the extent of neuropraxia. Keep in close contact with your Surgeon for reassurance.

Answer: Lip Weakness After Facelift Thank you for your picture. It does appear you have some weakness of your facial nerve. This is a know possible complication of facelift surgery therefore it is a risk of surgery and not an error. This should resolve in several months. Best wishes.
