Thank you for your question regarding if a thigh lift or a 360 tummy tuck would be the best approach for your thighs. Thank you for your pictures and your history. It is indeed true that a 360 circumferential lower body lift would lift the thighs. However, it lifts the outer thighs. It doesn't lift the inner thighs significantly. If your thighs bother you, I suggest thigh surgery, not a body lift or a tummy tuck. Even though the body lift appears that may affect the inner thigh, in actuality, it doesn't. In regards to your thighs, you need a thigh reduction. I would suggest a modified vertical longitudinal media thigh lift. This would include mild liposuction and an incision from the grain partially down the inner thigh. When your legs are together, the scar is concealed. If you have excess skin and fat on the knee, this scar will go down as far as the defect bothers you. Incision and the resulting scar would have to go to the knee. However, your pictures show that the upper inner thirds bother you. I would not suggest a crescent thigh lift because I don't think it would give you optimal results. The crescent thighs also fret with complications if the plastic surgeon is not professionally trained. The crescent thigh lift requires meticulous measurements and anchoring of the scar to the pelvic bone. Good luck. Therefore, my vote is for the thigh lift, not the 360 tummy tuck or 360 circumferential lower body lift. Sincerely, Dr. Katzen
