I have had filler multiple times in my lips but not for about 2 years now. I have recently noticed my top lip line to have this brown dot/line border. What is it? Why do I have it? What can I do to have it removed without damaging my natural lip line?

If you are just now noticing the lines several months after your treatment it is not likely they are related. It's difficult to tell what may be causing them without seeing earlier photos or an exam. Lip fillers typically last 6-12 months. See your injector to discuss concerns you may have.
Thank you for your question! It is up for debate whether or not filler can leave long-term scar tissue. Nodules of filler are possible, but these can often be dissolved with hyaluronidase or reabsorbed by the body over time. I recommend booking an in-person consultation with a qualified provider...
In this case it is best to either dissolve the filler entirely or let it dissolve with time. After a few weeks once everything has settled you may pursue lip filler again.
