Thank you for your question.  I am so sorry that you are having so much trouble after your surgery.  To best answer your question, I would need to see you in person, and take a look on the inside of your nose with an endoscope.  I would recommend seeking out a board certified facial plastic surgeon or an Otolaryngologist (ENT), for a full evaluation. Depending on your exam, he/she can make recommendations about how to help your symptoms.  I am hopeful that there could be something done to help with your nasal symptoms (and it may not be secondary to your turbinates, at all).  At this point, I would get a bottle of nasal saline, and use this as often as you can during the day (almost every hour if you can).  Also run a humidifier at nighttime.I hope that this helps, and good luck!-David Gilpin  

Dear millym Recovery after turbinate surgery can take time but can also be helped with the right supportive care. Use of nasal saline spray to loosen crusting and promote mucosal healing, using steroid sprays to minimize inflammation and using a humidifier at home can all help. It is uncommon to have aggressive excision of turbinates. You should seek consultation with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon to help improve your nasal function.
