might be a silly question but ... Aside from having a disastrous rhinoplasty I had turbinonplasty which has left with seriously dry irritated nose and eyes . It has been 8 months now and no improvement the only relief I get is when I'm in shower or crying .Sad thing is I didn't have sinus problems to begin with I just wasn't well informed on what turbinates were and how important they are . Can they be restored or once they're touched or that's it ?

Nose reshaping, or Rhinoplasty, is one of the most common
plastic surgery procedures performed today. Often, the structure or size of the
nose is not proportionate with the other features on the face. Nose reshaping
procedures can help to correct the disproportionate appearance of the nose...
Both Microdebrider and radio frequency turbinate reduction are safe methods to reduce the inferior turbinate. They both effectively reduce allergic rhinitis as well as increase airflow. Both procedures are technique sensitive and operator dependent.
Your photos show the expected degree of columella swelling often seen 2.5 weeks after rhinoplasty even if no tip work was performed. Stay relaxed as worrying will not help. Be sure to attend followup visits and use them as an opportunity to express any concerns to your treating surgeon.
