I have freckles and age spots that I was trying to get rid of all over my body with BBL laser, I was told I had the perfect skin for this. I have had two treatments and the problem is worse not better! More age spots. I never had any darkening or peeling off like they said I would either. I take methotrexate as well as thyroid medication and disclosed this and was told it was fine, but I don’t understand why it’s not working?

From your picture I agree with you, it does look like sun damage. For sun damage BBL is absolutely the best option. Melasma usually presents with defined borders. If it is melasma then Moxi would be your best choice. Hope this helps!
BBL is only removing the over-pigmentation from the skin... it is not "fixing" the sun damaged cells that are causing the pigment overproduction. Therefore...BBL cannot give "permanent" results. Ways to make your results last longer are definitely available, but rest fully in your hands. ...
The SkinTyte protocol with BBL can help stimulate collagen and tighten skin but I don’t believe by your description of how your skin hangs along with arm fat that this would be a good solution for you. Of course a consultation with an experienced provider would be most appropriate
