What is this lower stomach bulge 7 months after tummy tuck? (photos)

I had a full tummy tuck with muscle repair in April of 2021. Since the very beginning I had this lower stomach bulge and was told it was swelling and would go away. Here I am almost 7 months post op and it’s still there. When I sit it rolls so I think maybe more skin? I haven’t been able to see my surgeon since June since he had to have an emergency surgery on himself. I haven’t gained any weight and I’ve been working out since I was cleared to do so. I’ve attached before and afters. Thanks!

There should not be much safety difference so long as standard protocols are followed. It is important to make sure maximum doses of medications are not given - which can be done with either exparel or the standard.
