I'm being treated for asthma related condition with steroids, but I don't have asthma.I have gained 3 stone over 18 months taking steroids, I have lost 1.1/2 stone now.I had a large neck and double chin before the weight gain. could lipo be my solution? To my undiagnosed breathing problem.

congratulations on losing weight.  In general your going to need to lose more weight to have ear breathing further improved.  I would strongly suggest you get a sleep study and potentially use something called a CPAP.  It's a machine that keeps her throat open at night with positive pressure.this will make her sleep more efficient and hopefully improve your daytime energy leading to more activity and weight lossincidentally, my own mother had an issue very similar to yours and once starting on the CPAP she lost 85 pounds.  I'm not sure how many stones that is but it's a lot of stonesI wish you the very bestChase Lay, MD
