Putting Cold Compress 1 Week After Chin Lipo?

im putting a cold compress on my chin and some part that is swollen and numb..is it ok?

It would not harm anything to use a cold compress a week after liposuction of the chin, but using a cold compress helps most in the first 2-3 days after surgery.  It's unlikely that the compress will help much after a week.  Swelling should be improving at this point though, so if you feel your swelling is not getting better, you should contact your surgeon.

Most likely the cold compress will not reduce swelling one week following surgery. However, a properly used cold compress will likely help with any residual discomfort that you are experiencing at that time point. I hope this information is helpful.

After submental Smartlipo it is best to wear
your compression garment. Throughout your healing process continue to wear the
garment as well as follow up with your surgeon. A cold compress will not
necessarily help with healing. Good luck!
