Biggest mistake I’ve ever made with my body was going to 1350 ccs I want them smaller but I am afraid of how my skin will hold up, will I need a lift again? If so I am afraid of stretch marks or veins appearing. My ultimate hope is that I can reduce them to 900ccs and have them higher up on my chest and closer together, don’t know if this is possible but I’m miserable with them either as big as they are
Answer: Breasts These balls are much too large and heavy for your frame and tissue, and 900 cc's will still be too large and heavy. However, you have now stretched your own tissue thinly and may have to stay with large implants. Your surgeon can examine you to see if a lift is an option. It might not be safe to your nipples to do such.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear ciarafox, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method Even if you reduce your implants to 900 cc's, that is 2 lbs. each. The only thing holding up implants that large is the skin envelope and it will not last and will definitely fail. At this time, I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, small implants can be placed totally submuscular if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: What happens when you use implants that are bigger than your breast diameter? Anytime patients choose to work with excessively large implants that are larger than their own natural breast diameter. They’re setting themselves up for having increased undesirable side effects, increased complication rates, and most definitely increased revision rates.Even 900 cc is far too big to avoid all of these problems. Once you go down the road of having really big implants, your distant to have a problems later in life with breasts and implants. Staying with modest augmentations to start with is the only way to minimize long-term quality outcomes without the need for multiple operations. Even then, some patients still end up having problems. Follow up with your provider or schedule a few in person second opinion consultations. Best, Mats hagstrom md
