Will I still be able to get breast fat transfer if I had a blood clot in one of the artery? I later had a Csection and I was normal. I am a A cup hoping to be a B cup. Any doctor opinion will be highly appreciated.
Answer: Blood clot You did not state the actual reason for your blood clot, and might need clearance from your medical doctor for an elective procedure. However, I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon, being examined, and discussing your options for a fat transfer and implants. Long term, the implants do better for most women.

Answer: Fat transfer to breasts I don’t think there are any significant risks based on your previous history. However, fat injections to the breasts really don’t work very well. Look at photos on the internet and to get a realistic idea as to what is possible. Also, you should not have the surgery if you are currently in blood thinners for the clot.

Answer: Can I get breast fat transfer if I had blood clotted in the past due to chemotherapy? Breast fat transfer is a great tool to balance breasts, improve symmetry, and gain up to one cup size in volume. You will need clearance from the physician treating you for the blood clot as a result of chemotherapy.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear Practical934, As long as you get a clearance from your doctor, you might be a candidate for a surgery. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
