I have formed an incisional hernia (after weight loss surgery) and need it repaired as it causes pain and discomfort. I am hoping to get Breast Augmentation this year as well. It would be great if I could have one healing session and I was wondering if they could be done at the same time?

Answer: Incisional hernia Yes, they can be done simultaneously. The incisional hernia will most likely be repaired by a general surgeon, not your plastic surgeon. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Hernia Repair and Breast Augmentation The hernia looks large, so you would need a general surgeon or a plastic surgeon who can do both things. Some of us received training and board-certification in general surgery along with plastic surgery and are comfortable performing both procedures, often without the use of synthetic mesh.
