Donor Fat for Brazilian Butt Lift?

Unfortunately, unless you have an identical twin, it would not be possible to have someone donate fat for your Brazilian Butt Lift. Your best bet is to visit with a surgeon very experienced in this technique and consult about your options- in my practice I have had great success with patients like yourself by having them gain a bit of weight before surgery.

After the operation you will be free to lose the excess weight, confident that while your whole body will get smaller, your lovely new shape will be maintained.

The only suitable donor for a fat graft is an identical twin. Other than that, I am not aware of any other options for grafting that would minimize the chance of rejection at this point in time. Stem cell therapy may offer more options in the future but currently are prohibitively expensive.

It is not recommended to use fat from someone other than yourself for any procedure.  Our fat cells are unique to each individual and using another person's fat will produce rejection of that fat which can lead to serious complications.  If you do not have enough fat and wish to improve the shape of your buttocks then buttocks implants are your best solution.

Believe it or not, this is one of the most common questions we receive. The beauty of a Brazilian butt lift is that the final results are 100% you. Your body accepts the fat that is transferred to the that butt because it is all you. For this reason, we can only use your own tissue. If we injected tissue or cells from another person, even a family member, your body will recognize as foreign and mount a very severe response against it.

Your best bet is to work with a board-certified plastic surgeon that has a great deal of experience in liposuction, fat grafting, and Brazilian butt lift surgery. They will be able to carefully evaluate you and determine if you are a candidate for this procedure.

You must use your own fat for a Brazilian Butt Lift.  You can't use anyone else's.  The fat could be removed from any area where you have extra fat available: abdomen, back, legs, arms.  Then it is used to create a fuller, rounder buttock contour.
