I am 5'3 and 108lb, petite lady. My surgeon measured (between breasts I think?) me and said it's 11 cm. So he offered a variety of sizes, the largest was 265cc (gummy bears), I peaked the largest but I still think its too small and will not be noticeable. On the other hand I don't want to look like a clown with watermelons. My goal is to get better proportion with my bottom which is 34 inches and my chest is 30. Will this 265cc cover my 4 inch deficit? Thank you for you time and your thoughts.
Answer: Breast Implant Size Based on your photographs, it is difficult to say exactly how the 265cc implants will sit on your chest, but based on your size and measurements a 265cc implant will give you a significant and noticeable augmentation. You do not want to push the size of the implant beyond what your surgeon feels is safe, as this can increase the risk of complications associated with the procedure. Speak with your surgeon if you have more questions about the sizing and the possible size options for your procedure.

Answer: Breast Implant Sizing Thank you for your question. It is difficult to make a recommendation about size of implants without a proper consultation. Based on the measurements provided, your surgeon has made a good recommendation in terms of volume. Many board certified plastic surgeons offer technology that can do 3D simulation breast imaging so patients can view outcomes not only related to their breasts, but to the entire body as well. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Size Selection Good morning! Of course proper sizing requires chest measurements, reviewing photos together, and trying on the implant sizers here in the office, based on your photos, petite dimensions, and wide gap between your breasts, and desire to look non-clownish haha, I lean towards a Mod Plus silicone gel implant. I think the 275-325cc range sounds appropriate!

Answer: Implant size and type Dear goldenorchid,Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too smallYou should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: 265 cc enough? Without examing you, it is difficult to accurately answer your question. Many different factors must be considered when choosing the appropriate implant for a patient. In my opinion, only your surgeon has the knowledge and experience to do that. It should not be the responsibility of the patient. From your photos, it is evident that you have very little breast tissue and body fat. I would caution you against having to large an implant for the available tissue. Consult an experienced surgeon and follow their recommendations.
