9 months post op deep plane facelift and the tightness is still unbearable. Is there anything that can be done?

Thank you for your questions. Have you discussed this with your surgeon? If not, I would start there. I would give it at least 12 months before considering any revision procedures and I would try some non-invasive methods to relax things a bit. Perhaps some physical therapy would be helpful as well? If none of those things work, then you might require a surgical revision to release some of the tension, but beware that this is certainly going to compromise the cosmetic results.Hope this helps!Dallas R. You can try accupuncture and see a neurologist for a possible nerve relaxant like neurontin. Remember the healing goes on for at least a year and you are only 9 months out. It might get better on its own. You can also try facial expression exercises to loosen it on your own. RegardsDr J
