I am 3 1/2 weeks post Deep Plane Facelift. Still having lots of swelling and numbing in face and neck. I still can only open my mouth minimally. Is this normal? I honestly had no idea it would be this bad. I look like an alien. Is there hope

Great question! A well-performed deep plane lift will reposition the lax tissues of the midface, jowl, and neck. Generally speaking, this can result in a transition from the aged square face to a more youthful triangular shaped face. Hope this helps!
