Will Botox give me a fox eye/brow lift or what is my option? (photo)

Hello. I’ve always had an issue with my right brow being a bit more dropped than my left. Wondering if Botox will help even them out or if I should go more for a thread lift or what options are out there?

Thank you for your question and photo. Botox can be used to achieve a brow lift, however, the true "Fox Eye" procedure is done using threads. The threads are dissolvable sutures used to lift the outer corner of the eye and give a more exaggerated brow lift. My recommendation would be to start with Botox and then possibly consult with an experienced doctor on threads if you are wanting more drastic results. Make sure you weigh the pros and cons of both procedures. Hope this helps and best of luck to you.

The short answer to your question is that Botox has been used for more than two decades for creating a "chemical" eyebrow lift and would therefore constitute a very quick, relatively inexpensive and simple no-downtime fix for helping to establish greater symmetry between your brows. Thank you for submitting your photo.  I think it is reasonable to try Botox to see if you can make your eyebrows more even since it can be effective and inexpensive to do so.  Please be sure to have this procedure done by an injector who has a lot of experience in this problem since there are many injectors who do not know this technique well.

Thanks for sharing your photo. Your brows are asymmetric and on one side lower and less arched than the other. The medial and lateral brow ends are about the same height. In order to achieve: symmetry, elevation, and an arch, the brows bend and shape according to the underlying muscles. A talented injector can achieve rebalancing those muscle to assist in your desires. Sometimes, the “crow’s feet” muscle fibers can be relaxed to a point of outer brow tip higher and straighter than the medial end but not always. Botox would definitely help in correction of asymmetries in the brows. Botox injection provides a conservative brow lift. As an office procedure, it is very prompt, single painless injection without downtime. In the experienced hands, a small amount of Botox can help to slightly lift or drop your brows to gain symmetry. The final results are visible after one to two weeks with the aftereffects gradually fading over two to four months. Another suitable option is a brow lift surgery which can yield more pronounced and longer lasting results. Thank you for your question. Depending on which look you are trying to achieve you can even out your brows some more with botox. You can either match the "more dropped" brow or try and raise the other brow up to match the other. Botox lasts about 3-4 months and takes 2 weeks to kick in. Hope this helps!

Thank you for your question! Botox can certainly help with asymmetries in the brows. With small amounts of the toxin in the correct area we are able to lift slightly or drop slightly your brows. Make sure to go to an experienced plastic surgeon injector. I hope this helped!
