Botox and Bocouture do not work. Am I resistant? (photo)

Question

After pregnancy Botox stopped to work so I’ve tried Bocouture - 10 units for forehead lines about 2 months ago and 10 for glabella about month ago - but no effects. Is it possible that I am resistant to both? Is it worth to try Bocouture one more time but with other specialist?

Hello lucy2018, based on the photos that you have provided it appears that you may need to go up in units needed to treat those areas fully. Also, it is important that you follow up with your injector to discuss your options and goals. 
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin lock the release of a chemical called acetylcholine, which triggers the muscle contractions that create wrinkles. Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin essentially paralyze the muscles and stops them from contracting. Results from these treatments are visible within two to four days with results that can last anywhere from 3-4 months.

HiTo be honest, there is very little difference between Botox and Bocouture. Both have Botulinum Toxin Type A. True Botox resistance is very rare. Most of the time, 3 factors need to be looked into: Provider skills, freshness of the preparation, and dilution.
