I have a hard lump directly above my brow at the injection site. It appeared immediately after the botox injection and has stayed despite using a cold compress. It is tender to the touch and looks like it might bruise. How long can I expect this bump to stay?

Answer: Hard lump after Botox. Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear of your painful bump. If your injector accidentally struck a vein you may have been left with a deep bruise or small hematoma in the skin or muscle. This may ultimately discolor the overlying skin but will resolve spontaneously within a few days to a couple of weeks depending on size and severity. Hang in there!
