Hello Nicknamehere! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Shah Facial Plastics. This is a great question. Botox injections are safe and effective with your particular prothrombin mutation. I highly recommend scheduling an in-person consultation in order to better assess your areas of concern and discuss an appropriate treatment plan to help achieve your aesthetic goals. Our office phone number is: (312) 944-0117. I hope this helps and best of luck!
Botox injections will be safe and effective with your particular prothrombin mutation. You have no more risk for clotting with Botox injections than you would any other day of the week. More invasive surgical procedures need to be approached more cautiously if you are entertaining these in the future.
Hyper-coagulability disorders are more of a concern after having a procedure which could increase your risk of a blood clot in your leg such as a tummy tuck. Procedures like botox injection don't increase your risk of blood clots so you should be able to safely have the injections done like anyone else!Hope this helps!-Dr. Halka
