Thank you for sharing your experience with under-eye fillers. This is a very tricky area and should be treated by an experienced oculoplastic surgeon. The filler can easily be dissolved and refilled. It’s not clear from your photo if you have the Tyndall effect. There’s no in dissolving the filler if there is any doubt. Good luck!

The Tyndall effect Is a blue discoloration of the under eye skin associated with ha fillers. Without seeing your before and after photos, it is difficult to tell whether this is Tyndall or residual bruising. It's difficult to tell from the submitted photo if you have Tyndall effect which tends to be a blueish tone. If you are wanting the filler dissolved it can be done with hyaluronidase. Keep in mind that it may require more than one treatment session to get all filler dissolved. You may want to visit with another injector for a second opinion if you are considering this.

Hi there! I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your filler results. I love filling the under eye area and do a ton of them. I would love to answer your questions, however, your photo is too small, too close up, and too dark...making it too difficult to see what we are trying to assess. Please take a new photo and resubmit. Otherwise, my recommendation is to consult with a provider that does a lot of injectables, specifically tear troughs. It can be a plastic surgeon, aesthetic injector (RN, PA, or ARNP), or dermatologist, but the important factor is that they be very experienced in injectables. Oftentimes, dermatologist are focusing more on medical dermatology and less on injectables. Wishing you the best!
