Is 2.5 weeks enough time not smoking before a BBL?

Peaceful297345
I was a previous smoker, however I quit. Recently, I picked up vaping, and I was consistent for 3 weeks. However, my surgeon just let me know he has a date for surgery in 2.5 weeks. I stopped vaping completely yesterday, and will not touch it again before or after surgery. I asked my surgeon if it was enough time to stop before surgery, and he said 2.5 weeks will be enough, as long as I don’t start after. I read online though that most doctors reccomend 4-6 weeks. Should I be ok if I go forward with the surgery on the planned date?
