When I had my facelift, my surgeon did not do a platysmaplasty via chin incision + instead addressed the platysma muscle laterally + 1tsp under chin lipo. I love the results on my face, but my neck bands are still very prominent just under the chin + look like they are being pulled apart + there is some scar tissue. My surgeon said I need a "corset platysmaplasty" and referred me to a facial plastic surgeon for the procedure. Is there a huge difference between waiting 6 or 8 months for surgery?
