Answer: Breasts I don't see an actual infection and you can always send photos to your surgeon. You do have a few areas that have slightly opened and these can be treated with diluted Betadine solution with saline on gauze twice daily. If need, find a surgeon or physician near you and be checked. It is best to choose a surgeon in your area for follow up care.

Answer: Post Op Incision Site Healing Hi cat3754, I understand your concern. Based on your photos, it appears that you are doing a good job in keeping your incision site clean. Always remember to follow your plastic surgeon's post operative wound care management instructions. If you are concerned, it is best that you visit your plastic surgeon to have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: What to do for your incisions From your photographs, it seems like you are taking good care of them. Plastic surgeons have different ways of handling things, and perhaps you can send photos via the Internet to your doctor and ask their opinion on how to treat this situation. It seems like you should do very well overall.

Answer: Breast wounds You do have some breakdown along the incision lines. Overall it looks like you are doing a nice job of keeping the wounds clean. Send a picture to your plastic surgeon and they can discuss recommendations for treatment. These wounds should go on to heal nicely but it will take time. Take care.Timothy A. Janiga MD, FACS
