Treatment was for facial redness Is this possibly part of the healing process, as my doctor said it can take 6 weeks to achieve full results (and then more treatments may be needed depending on results)? I avoided any harsh skin products, strenuous exercise, and alcohol for the past 2 weeks. I've only just started to spot treat minor acne lesions with benzoyl peroxide. The only extended time in the sun I got was about 30 minutes of golf 1 week after treatment and I was wearing SPF 50

Yes, laser results can take several weeks to settle. Redness can be improved with a combination of lasers (ProYellow, Excel V, VBeam) and microneedling/prp. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
