Will V-beam work for this acne scars? (Photos)

Question

My acne scars will become redness when it's hot weather, but when normal weather it seems not really redness. IPL or V-beam work better for this ? And maybe how many times should I ?

Yes, a combination of VBeam with ProYellow, Excel V and microneedling/prp will give improvement to red scars. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Vbeam may be one option in treating your acne scarring. This laser is considered the gold standard in treating vascular lesions, red spots, and visible vessels. In our office, we have several treatments that can help improve common vascular skin issues, including rosacea, post-inflammatory erythema, red scars, facial blushing, and spider veins. The Vbeam laser continues to be the gold standard for redness, including rosacea and post-inflammatory erythema. In some cases, we add Venus Viva RF coagulation to help improve redness on the skin from spider veins, inflammation, and rosacea. 
  
Generally, several sessions are required to improve redness on the skin. Vbeam laser, IPL Limelight, and Venus Viva all work very well with minimal downtime. 
  
Patients with rosacea may benefit from topical creams to help soothe inflamed skin. We recommend Elevase Moisture Booster. For Post-inflammatory erythema, Plato’s Scar Serum is recommended twice daily.

Yes, if colour is your main concern then IPL, V Beam, Excel V are all good lasers. Laser genesis with the 1064 can also be useful. 755 Alex can help. But to answer your question, yes. 2-3 sessions 2-3 weeks apart for the best results. Dr Davin Lim. PS Make sure you use sunscreen prior and in between treatments.
