I got a small but active chalzion of 6 months, removed on wednesday the 11th of january, that was four days ago. It is still swollen and my eye wont open up all the way. Is this abnormal? Will the swelling ever go down or is my eye permently damaged.

I would recommend a consult with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery . Eye bags are not always age related but can be inherited and are due to anatomy around the lower eyelid than can be imoirved with a lower eyelid blepharoplasty
