Doxycycline for festoons? Is this safe and what are the results like?

I have subtle festoons where my eye meets my cheek bone and they have always bothered me. I didn't like the results from filler trying to fix it and didn't see any improvements from sculptra. I am reading the doxycycline can be injected. Is this safe and what are the results like? Does anyone do this in the New England area?
