Who is allowed to perform microneedling anymore?

Last month in Massachusetts it was ruled that nurses can no longer perform microneedling. Is that true nationwide? Who can perform microneedling now?

I am not an attorney, but my guess is that state law applies only to that state. Here in Arizona, the laws are different, but those performing microneedling must be under the supervision of a physician. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO

That is a great question.  The laws from state to state differ in the world of aesthetics; however, in Nevada, aestheticians and clinical assistants can perform micro-needling under the supervision of a doctor.

Laws regarding who can perform various aesthetic procedures vary widely from state to state.  Here in Colorado, licensed aestheticians, RNs and PAs can perform microneedling as long as they are under the direct supervision of a physician.
