They really bother me. I've noticed within the last year the "eye bags" worsening and also some extra wrinkles. I've gone through a lot of heavy stress over the past 2 years. I've always had youthful eyes. Both my mother and grandmother have really bad under eye circles and bags. I really don't want to go down the same path. I sneeze a lot but an allergist said I am not allergic. I get decent sleep. I do constantly look at a computer for work. Wrinkles are worse when I smile…I know normal but I seem to have a lot..

Answer: Under eye circles You have some hollowing under the eyes which may be causing the skin to look dull and give you dark circles. Try some HA filler first such as Restylane or Belotero. These should help the appearance of the lower lids, and also the wrinkles. A small amount of Botox/Dysport will also help with the smile lines.

Many people have this wrinkling around the eyes and it can be somewhat genetically inherited. There are many different options and only an in office consultation can help to determine which is best for you. Your best option would be meet with a board certified oculoplastic surgeon to review your case. There are several in Boston. Good luck!
