It really bothers me. I've always noticed it, but I feel like it has gotten worse. My cheek is also fatter on the side with the smaller eye. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Answer: Asymmetry There are very few people in this world who have complete symmetry in their body. Just like your fingerprints are different on each hand, so too, will your anatomy be different around your eyes and face. It is difficult to judge the degree of asymmetry with your head tilted like you have in the photo. I would recommend for you to see a board certified facial plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns.

Answer: Facial asymmetry Hello Ktb3,Thank you for the question. It is much more common for there to be a slight difference between the two sides of the face than for there to be perfect symmetry. The reason is that as we develop we are two halves joined at the back that come together in the front middle and join. It is common that one eyebrow is higher, cheek is higher and corner of the mouth is higher. Having said that, your picture is tilted making an exact evaluation of your eyes different. The picture at least appears to show there to be more skin on the left upper eyelid. I would recommend a consultation with a facial plastic surgeon, plastic surgeon, or oculoplastic surgeon for a complete evaluation to determine what surgery would be the most likely to provide you with the results you want.I hope this helps and good luck.
