Answer: NeoGraft Thank you for your question. You are experiencing great regrowth for the 5 month post-op mark, and should continue to experience regrowth up until the 12 month post-op mark. I suggest that you keep your board certified facial plastic surgeon up-to-date as to your recovery.Best wishes,

Answer: Gaps in your FUE You had not lost all of your hair at the time of your procedure. Therefore, sometimes the grafts are not placed in areas where you already have good coverage. In other words, there were gaps in the placement of the grafts. However, it is still a little early to worry. I would wait until the 1 year mark. You may have had some thinning of your existing hair prior to the transplant due to shock loss, as well. In addition, pre-existing hair is prone to fall out at some point and your existing hair may have simply come the milestone in life where it was genetically programed to senesce and miniaturize. Still, wait until the 1 year mark, which is the point to judge the procedure anytime you graft into pre-existing hair.

Answer: I'm 5 months post FUE with 3,200 grafts, and I have a lot of gaps. Is it normal? (Photo) Hello, thank you for posting your question. You are still at only 5 months post procedure. Give yourself a few more months, and pretty sure the zones should get denser. at 6 months, you shold expect roughly around 50% growth. This will only double in the next 6 months or so. Give it some time, and re-address it in an about 3 to 4 months down. Thank you again.
