There are a few treatment options to meet your aesthetic goals. Chin filler would be a good temporary and non-invasive procedure to help widen your chin such that it matches the rest of your face. This result can last around a year and give you a chance to determine if you like the aesthetic of having your chin augmented. From the photos that you have provided, you appear to be an excellent candidate for a surgical anatomic chin implant. This will not only widen your chin but also provide more definition as well to the chin and jaw. Nonetheless, I would recommend you to complete multiple in-office consultations with board certified facial plastic surgeons to discuss your ideal aesthetic goals. This way, they can better assess your face and create an ideal treatment plan for you. Best of luck, Kian Karimi MD, FACS
Thank you for your question. The two best ways to augment the jawline are fillers or implants. Fillers can be done in the office, have almost no downtime, and are a good way to trial a particular look, but the result isn't permanent. Implants on the other hand are permanent, but require surgery and usually about a week of downtime. There isn't a right answer, just the one that works best for you and your goals. All the best!
The best way to widen your lower face and achieve square, masculine look, would be by means of jaw implants. In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in facial implants is recommended. Good luck.
For a more defined jawline to strengthen your profile (and help prevent the dreaded jawline "jowl" sagging), we use injectable fillers like Revanesse Versa - a filler known to limit swelling and give subtle, soft enhancements - or Radiesse. Using a cannula to limit pain and swelling, we inject on the bone in strategic points to get more lift and shaping, resulting in a more contoured lower face and defined, structured jawline. I would suggest getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
The jawline can be defined and enhanced with jawline augmentation using Gortex or Silastic material. The look from the front view would then provide a positive contour.
Thank you for your question. It is possible to have a chin implant placed after the fat transfer results have settled. The chin implant will provide more projection as well as definition to your chin and jaw. Not all of the fat from the fat transfer will survive, and the final result will take...
Thank you for your question. Like most of my patients, the answer that is best is the one that's right for you. Luckily, there are several ways to accomplish your goal. The first, and least invasive, would be fillers. If you're on the fence or just don't have time for surgery and want an...
Dear Eclectic487163, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from chin augmentation. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will...
