Are warm compresses good to do a few days after rhinoplasty?

I know it is a common recommendation to use icing for the first few days to help with facial swelling after rhinoplasty. However I was wondering if after a few days when you have stopped using ice, if warm compresses would be helpful? Or would they have no effect, or a negative effect?

Every case is different when it comes to a situation such as yours.  I would recommend you run this by your oral surgeon as well.  I tend to agree with your plastic surgeon and that it would be okay to proceed with the rhinoplasty.  Good luck!

I would advise following up with your surgeon if you have any concerns about this for a proper examination, however, I doubt you have caused any damage to your nose at his point of recovery.
