Can someone get a hair transplant to increase density?

Question

Hello. So say someone has a full head of hair however they don't have good density on the top of their scalp. Can they get a hair transplant to add more density? For me for example When my hair is oily I can't spike it up as my scalp becomes see through on the top and from the front of my hairline. So can I get a hair transplant to add more density? Thank you.

It is best to see a doctor for consultation to make sure your goals and expectations can be met.  Just adding hairs may not give you the "density" that you can notice.

Please post pictures for us to give a better advice. Though it is very difficult for us to suggest anything without pictures; yes, it is possible to improve the density of the frontal hair, but for hair transplantation there should be optimal space in between two hair or a bald patch. If there is no optimal space between them then one will probably land up have residual damage which might waste lots of existing hair. Therefore we advise you to seek a consult with an experienced plastic surgeon who can physically access the situation and then give his/her expert advice.

Unless you have hair loss for some reason, a hair transplant will not help you make a better styling hair. This is a surgical procedure and as such should be taken seriously
