A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. You would be a candidate for a lip lift.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Although many surgeons still consider distance between the nose and the upper lip to be the mayor factor influencing decision for lip lift, it is very likely doubtful, in most patients. Whehter patient needs a lip lift should more depend on how much her/his teeth show when smiling? Your distance of 15 mm is within normal and for that reason you should not need a lip lift. Question is whether a scar underneath the nose is worth of 2 mm visual upper lip enlargement. That can be achieved with filler. I hope that some of these doubts will help you to make the right decision.

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...
A lip lift will improve your teeth show, even though your philtrum is not excessively long. From your picture, I can guess that it measures about 1.5 cm. You could shorten at least 5 mm and improve your smile. Your teeth are high and you might still have issues with teeth show at rest.
