My face is long and thin. Do you think cheek fillers would be helpful?

Hello, do you think cheek fillers would be helpful? My face is long and thin. I feel I’ve lost some volume and wonder if cheek fillers would refresh me? Also I’ve noticed dents near my nose/cheek area when smiling. I’ve had under eye fillers in the past snd wasn’t so impressed. Opinions?

Hi, under eye filler would soften your malar bags and cheek groves . Under eye filler aims at treating under eye darkness, bags and dark circles. These under eye problems are not associated with aging.

This area can be treated with sculptra, bellafill or other fillers. alot of fillers work well here but need to be injected properly. this is the submalar/posterior jawline. Best, Dr. Emer

This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry...

Hello - I would say it depends on which side you like better! As I view the photos it looks like your right side has more volume than left, If you like that side, I would try to match it with more volume. If you like the left side better, than you may try to dissolve the right. If concerned...

In general, getting dermal fillers in the cheeks should not exacerbate the Trigeminal neuralgia but there is an area that you do need to be careful to avoid (near lateral cheek which not commonly injected). On a side note, there are some possible alternative treatments that can be considered...

I see this occasionally in my own practice. Almost always it is present preoperatively and becomes more noticeable as the tissues of the face are tightened. I would personally leave it alone for about a year before pursuing filler. Hope this helps.
