Your tummy tuck scar can be revised. It is best to wait at least 9 months after your surgery to do so. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation. You can discuss your concerns and create a surgical plan for correction.
Dear Caring324088,I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Thanks for the question and posted photos. I recommend a TT scar revision with N/A revision. But you need virtual or in person consultations before making any decisions.
It would be helpful to see you before and after pictures when assessing the outcome of a surgical procedure. It’s also helpful if the surgeon knows what you’re trying to achieve or what you don’t like about the outcome. Both the breast and tummy tuck look like they were done by a competent provider though I personally may have opted for setting the tummy tuck scar a little lower if possible. The belly button looks better than average and your breast shape is good. When doing a breast lift limiting the scar to one that only goes around the areola can limit the outcome to some degree.Your post did not tell what breast surgery you had done.I suggest you follow up with the plastic surgeon who did your procedure.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
