I am sorry you have had a problem.It is common for some stitches not to dissolve, but most dissolvable stitches do so within 3 months after they have been placed.First: the pain will hopefully settle very quickly, but if not you should go back and see your doctorSecond: if you have no contraindications to paracetamol, please take it as well, not only Ibuprofen (which is taken 400 mg x 3 WITH food (minimum of 6 hours apart), unless you have asthma or have had any bleeding intestinal ulcers, consider taking with an antacid medication and speak to your doctor).Third: there might have been a small nerve next to the stitch which has been disturbed and is making it extra sore, and as uninviting as it sounds, if you massage the area (first gently) you desensitise the area, which will make it less painful after a while.Best of luck I hope it settles soon
