1 yr post op Breast augmentation, the scarring looks pretty bad. Any suggestions? (photos)

The inframammary scar can look like this at one year after surgery.   This is why we use an armpit incision.  There is nothing that can be done to improve this situation.

Your scars are wider than ideal, and as you say some what raised.  Revising the scars by cutting them out and reclosing with attention to techniques that give narrow scars would have a good chance of improving them.   This is a minor procedure that can be done in the office.

The scar results from the inframammary approach are very acceptable. You need to accept these results and be happy they are NOT on the areolae...

Generally speaking inframmamary augmentation scars are fine white lines.  Yours are definitely wide and raised.  The obvious solution is to have them excised and remade,.  However the result will depend on whether or not you are a congenital keloid former.  Do you have any other surgical scars on your body to compare these to?  If you have other scars that are normal and thin, then re-excision would help you.  In any event you need to consult with your surgeon or another Board Certified Plastic surgeon to help you.
