2nd ultrasound 4 weeks apart show only a slight decrease in size of fluid seroma. Right breast has been swollen For 5 weeks, implants inserted nov 22 2014. Surgeons advice: ONLY AGRESSIVELY MASSAGE WITH WARM OIL AND WRAP DOWN THE IMPLANT TO FILL THE LOWER POLE. WEAR NO BRA TO LET IT SINK. Is there anything else I should or could be doing? People are commenting on difference of my breasts. When I first had them done they were perfect and both the same size..

If the seroma fails to respond to the conservative approach you are currently taking, some surgical intervention is the next step. A washout with exploration to make sure the implant and capsule are ok would be the next step. Seromas should not go untreated indefinitely.

I agree with my colleagues. Seromas should be drained because they can increase the chance of you forming a capsular contracture. Please call your operating surgeon and ask to be seen immediately. Good luck!

An untreated seroma after a breast augmentation increases the risk of capsular contracture in the future. Almost all should be surgically drained. Do you have a texturized implant?

Thanks for your question and photographs.  In some cases where patients have failed to respond to non surgical methods of treatment, it may be necessary to have the seroma surgically drained. A seroma that has been present since late November is now unlikely to respond to non surgical treatment.  As seroma can increase the risk of infection, rotation and capsular contraction. Its important you arrange a review with a fully qualified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.
