Is 25 too young to have a hair transplant? (Photo)

Question

I have been receding since the age of 18, now 25 I would say I'm a type III vertex. With my age I'm not sure if a transplant would be a viable option with the possibility of further receding in the future. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Some men in their early 20's go on to have hair transplant surgery.  There is no rule.  It is best to consult with a doctor regarding your specific goals and your Master Plan.

Age 25 is often the first age at which a hair transplant can be considered. However, the decision on whether you are a good candidate or not depends on a whole list of factors that you have not provided. Moving a conservative number of grafts into a conservative hairline might make sense at this point, but a lot depends on your future balding patterns. You have only a limited number of hair in the donor area to move in your lifetime. It's wise to be cautious about when and where this hair gets moved.
