Hi im 27 male and was looking to get a hair transplant but using the FUE technique , I've been advised around 3000 + grafts, I'm going to India for the procedure, the problem I have is I have a tattoo were they take for hair from SAFE ZONE , I've been told it won't affect the procedure but I don't want the tattoo be affected, looking at pictures of the way they puncture the skin and remove the hair I was thinking it may pull the ink out of the tattoo but not sure if this is true or not ? FUE is just a harvesting method. It does not relate to results. Keep in mind FUE is done with the head shaved. FUT is not. This may be an issue if you are a woman.
Hair follicles are generally a few millimeters in length. If you believe you are seeing something you are not suppose to be, follow up with your doctor for a recheck.
