I am thinking of having the fat transfer breast implants..or enlargements..My husband also wants to get rid of his belly fat..Could I use his fat for my breast..and how much does that cost..Or what do I do to get started with a Dr.in my town that can do that..

Answer: Husband's fat Unfortunately at this point in time, we are not able to transfer someone else's fat into our own bodies. I know patients ask us all the time and they'd be happy to donate but not possible.

Answer: Fat Unfortunately, you cannot use your husband's fat for your breasts. Fat transfer will give up to one cup increase in size. If you want more, you will need implants. I would suggest meeting with a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing all your options.

This is, in essence, a tissue transplant (akin to a liver, kidney or heart transplant). Without lifetime immune suppression therapy this is impossible, and absolutely not indicated for cosmetic related purposes. Your own body fat is an excellent option for modest breast enhancement and an implant is the gold standard device for breast enlargement. would encourage you to schedule a consultation and discuss your breast enhancement options with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), who is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), and also a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) demonstrating their commitment to cosmetic surgery and excellence in surgery.
